Today Hillary, Edmund and I set our turtles free in the Buddhist temple pond down the street from our house. Even though we will miss them, we know they will have a better life there in a big pond with lots of other turtles and fish. It was nice to see them start swimming around right away, getting used to their new life. Afterword, we blessed some Buddhist bracelets with protection and safety, which we plan to give to our friends once we're back in America. An added bonus was that the monk not only blessed our bracelets, but blessed us as well.
